Asperger syndrome

Asperger syndrome is an autisitic spectrum disorder. However the difference lies where one still preserve linguitic and cognitive development and is characterise by the lack of socialising ability, and repetitive behaviours and physical clumsiness. It can be seen as a high functioning autisim.

The lack of ability in demonstrating empathy towards peers, often results in the failure of friendships/relationship. Although not totally withdrawn from others, more often they approach with awkwardness and engages themselves in a one-sided favourite topic, neglecting or even not recognising the listener feelings or reactions. Some of them display selective mutism, where they chosen to speak to selective people they like and ignore the others. Children with AS have difficulty in understand figurative language, and takes languages literally, although they have no problem in acquiring language skills.

Sometimes you might not realise someone with AS. To relate to them, you have to be straightforward, althought it is platently obvious. They will be distant most of the time, but that is normal. ok i guess basically i think they are hard to handle.
